Bikes for Reading
Tomball Masonic Lodge No. 1096 is a dedicated champion of literacy in the community through its “Bikes for Reading” program. Recognizing that reading is fundamental to a child’s educational development, the Lodge partners with local schools to implement this continuous physical reading incentive. The program encourages students to meet specific reading goals, with the ultimate reward being a new bicycle. By providing such a motivating and tangible incentive, we show our commitment to making a measurable difference in the lives of local youth, fostering a determination to read and learn among students, and promoting continuous educational engagement.
Adopt – A – Highway
Tomball Masonic Lodge No. 1096 demonstrates its commitment to local civic responsibility by actively participating in the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) Adopt-a-Highway program. Our members regularly volunteer their time to clean and maintain a dedicated stretch of roadway, doing their part to ensure the Tomball area remains clean and beautiful for all residents and visitors. This hands-on involvement reinforces the Lodge’s dedication to community improvement and environmental stewardship, translating the Masonic principle of service into tangible, positive action right on our local streets. TOOTH FAIRY KITS
One of the most important ways Tomball Lodge supports local children is through the “Tooth Fairy Kits” initiative, which is a local component of the statewide Fantastic Teeth Fan Club program. Recognizing that dental decay is a chronic disease among school-age children, our goal is to promote preventative health by equipping local students with the necessary tools and knowledge. Lodge members assemble and distribute “Tooth Fairy Kits”—complete with a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and educational tips—to school children, thereby fostering positive dental hygiene habits and building a foundation for lifelong health and bright smiles. Scholarship
Education is a cornerstone of our Masonic values, and Tomball Lodge No. 1096 proudly supports local students through our annual Scholarship Program. These scholarships are available to students who live within the Tomball or Magnolia ISD boundaries, as well as to the children and grandchildren of Lodge members, regardless of where they attend school. Our goal is to invest directly in the next generation by providing financial assistance that helps offset the rising costs of higher education. We encourage all eligible and dedicated students to apply, demonstrating our commitment to fostering academic excellence and empowering the future leaders of our community.
